It is early morning take your cup of coffee or tea and more important your Bible, open it to Proverbs 3:4-5 which is the title of my blog. Trust is something we as humans find it difficult to do especially once we have been hurt by someone we have trusted and love. However I am talking about trusting God to take charge of your life, never easy is it. I would like to share something with you my readers. Last summer I was in my dinning room and I hear a bang at my window in the living room. we have a large picture window. At first I thought it was one of the stray cats I have named Fluffy and she wanted to come into the house, and I ignore it. However, something told me to go and check it out and so I did. On my front porch was this tiny wild bird just flapping it’s wing and I thought it was dying. I went over to it and realize it’s tiny leg was caught so I help it out. Then I was able to hold the birds in my hands, ( amazing isn’t it) This wild bird allow me to hold it, it had trusted me. For quite sometime I had this bird on my left hand, I stroke it from it’s head to it’s back of the wings. What came to my heart were these words, Trust in the Lord with all your heart, lean not on your own understanding. This creature trusted me to care for it for a little while. God was saying, you need to trust me with your journey, I will never leave or forsake you, just trust me. I realize as this wild creature trusted me, I too need to trust God, after sometime the bird just flew away.
