God’s Garden

In the book of Colossians 3: 12-13 which was written by Paul a follower of Jesus Christ to the church in Colossae. Paul tells us as Christians how we should as, as Paul tells us in Colossians. Therefore as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved clothe yourself with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience, bear with each other and forgive one another if any one has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. (NIV Bible) After reading these words and meditating on them I cam across a poem I am not sure who wrote it, however it reminded me the words that Paul had spoken

God’s Garden

Plant three rows of peas

Peace of mind

Peace of Heart

Peace of soul

Plant rows of squash

Squash gossip

Squash indifference

Squash grumbling

Squash selfishness

Plant rows of lettuce

Lettuce be faithful

Lettuce be kind

Lettuce be obedient

Lettuce really love one another

No garden without turnips

Turnip for meetings

Turnip for service

Turnip to help one another

Water freely with patience and cultivate love. There is much fruit for your garden because you reap what you sow. To conclude our garden, We must have thyme

Thyme for God

Thyme for study

Thyme for prayer

Thyme for each other

Thyme for family and friends

As we journey though out the coming week, remember to squash gossip if it comes your way. Remember to take thyme for prayer, turnip to help one another. So whatever you decide, lettuce us all remember this is the way to take care of God’s Garden and also to be a follower of our Lord Jesus Christ
