It is early morning Lord, the sun is not awake to greet the start of the day. As I sit I begin to meditate on your words. As I read in the book of Joshua 1:8-9 Keep this book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid, do not be discouraged for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”
These are wonderful words to read and to just sit and to think that whatever I may go thru during this day, rather good or bad, I will not be alone for you do go with me. If I am on a mountain Lord you are there, if I am down in the deepest part of a ocean, Lord you are there, if I am down in a pit Lord, you are there. O Lord there is no place here on your earth that I could ever hid from or try so hard to be away from everything or anyone because Lord, you are with me everywhere. Your words are comfort for my soul as I meditate on them in Hebrews 13:5 it tells us that Never will You leave me, never will You forsake me. Lord no matter what sins I have ever committed in my life now or in the future your love will never stop. Your love for me as your child is unconditional, and my soul Rejoice in your Love. As I remember the words in Philippians 4:4 Rejoice in the Lord always, again I will say rejoice!, and that is what I choose for this day.
