You Are Not A Mistake

The Purpose Driven Life book was written by Rick Warren a wonderful book for all of us to read, if you have ever wonder What on Earth Am I Here For?  I am sure their are many times and at times too many times we have wonder why I was ever born, what can I possible offer to the world, and even felt like you were a mistake. First off let me stay this to you, that you are not a mistake. Isaiah 44:2 tells us This is what the Lord says, he who made you, who formed you in the womb, and who will help you. From the book by Rick Warren he tells us this, long before you were conceived by your parents, you were conceived in the mind of God. He thought of you first. It is not fate, nor chance, nor luck, nor coincidence that you are breathing at this very moment. You are alive because God wanted to create you! The Bible tells us “The Lord will fulfill his purpose for me.” Let us think this thru for a second, wow, I am not mistake, no you are not, you were created by God for a purpose, for a special job that only you can do, and that is why you were created. It doesn’t matter whatever anyone ever tells you, that you are a mistake, (you are not) God doesn’t care ( God knows each of his children by name) You would never amount to anything ( Once again they are wrong, because he has a job with your name on it ) In his book The purpose Drive Life he quotes a poem by Russell Kelfer, that I will share with you.

You are who you are for a reason

You’re part of intricate plan

You’re a precious and perfect unique design,

Called God’s special woman or man,

You look like you look for a reason

Our God made no mistake.

He knit you together within the womb,

You’re just what he wanted to make

The parents you have were the ones he chose,

And no matter how you may feel,

They were custom-designed with God’s plan in mind,

And they bean the Master’s seal.

No that trauma you faced was not easy.

And God wept that it hurt you so,

But it allowed to shape your heart

So that into his likeness you’d grow.

You are who you are for a reason,

You’ve been formed by the Master’s rod.

You are who you are, beloved,

Because there is a God!
