The book of Thessalonians was written by Paul who was a follower of our Lord Jesus Christ. Paul praised the Thessalonians for their faith, giving his readers instructions on how to live in a way that pleases God. He also provides them with information about Christ’s second coming.
Paul tell us, now bothers and sister, about the times and dates we do not need to write to you, for you know very well that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night. While people are saying, Peace and safety, destruction will come on them suddenly as labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape. 1 Thessalonians 5:1-3
I know that with a lot of talk over the years when so many people are trying to tell you that they know the exacted time when Jesus will return and I am here to say that no one knows when that will be. In the Gospel of Mark hear these words from Jesus But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father, Be on guard! Be alert!. Mark 13:32-33 While we are waiting for that day to come let us remember to always encourage one another, love one another, because we never know what kind of battle someone maybe dealing with. The way that you would like someone to treat you with kindness, love and encouragement, we should do the same.
