You Are Worthy of My Praise

Exodus 15.jpgShout for joy to the Lord, all the earth. Worship the Lord with gladness, come before him with joyful songs. Know that the Lord is God. It is he who made us, and we are his, we are his people, the sheep of his pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise, give thanks to him and praise his name. For the Lord is good and his love endures forever, his faithfulness continues through all generations.

Psalm 100

These are beautiful words from the book of Psalm in which I memorize as a child in Sunday School one of the different places that I always love going, and believe me that my parents never had to force me to go I was always willing to. When I was growing up I also had the incredible opportunity to see the Shroud of Turin, the burial cloth of Jesus.

shroud-turin.jpgThe cloth was in a glass case, you can see that the man was a tall and thin built, and on the top of his head you can see where the Crown of Thorns laid upon, and you can see drops of blood that has gone down his face. You can see the holes that were in his writs (since having the nails in the hands would of torn his flesh)and feet, you can also see where the sword had pierce his side of his body. You look on the back of this cloth as my eyes swell up with tears knowing what my Lord suffer in my place. As the book of Isaiah 53:4-6 Surely he took up our pain and bore our suffering, yet we considered him punished by God, stricken by him and afflicted. But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities, the punishment that brought us peace and by his stripes we are healed. My friend Jesus took your place and he took my place on the cross, he could of refuse to do it but instead he was willing so that we would no longer be separated from God because of our sins, that is how much he loves you and me. I had forgotten all about what I had witness until a few years ago while I was search the scriptures for a short sermon that I would shared with others, that I began to have this dream over and over again. At first I thought I had made it all up but I didn’t, and now I can not remain silent no longer, I need to share all what I remember and what I have learn with my studies to all who will listen.  In the book of Matthew chapter 28 which is know as the Great Commission, Jesus tells his disciples as well as you and me these words: All authority is heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son and the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age. Matthew 28:18-20 I say to My Lord, Send Me, I am willing to go and make disciples. Here is a song where the words were change to the Hallelujah
