Brokenness

Psalm 55.png

Seek the Lord while he may be found; call on him while he is near. Let the wicked forsake their ways and the unrighteous their thoughts. Let them turn to the Lord and he will have mercy on them, and to our God, for he will freely pardon. For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are you ways my ways, declares the Lord. As the heaven are higher than the earth than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts. As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater, so is my word that goes out from my mouth: it will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I have desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it. You will go out in joy and be led forth in peace, the mountains and hills will burst into song before you, and all the trees of the field will clap their hands. Instead of the thorn bush will grown the juniper, and instead of briers the myrtle will grow. This will be for the Lord’s renown, for an everlasting sign that will endure forever.                             Psalm 55:7-13

God is the Great “I Am” Reversals, he can glean good out of evil. His master’s plan brings victory out of apparent defeat. Come to Jesus just as you are wounded from battle, and expose your wounds to him in his healing light. You need to spend plenty of time with him, opening yourself fully to his living presence. Many people who are seriously ill have been successfully treated by being place outdoors in sunlight and fresh air for hours of time soaking in the Light of His Presence, so that you can heal your deep wounds.

When you experience a divine reversal in your life, you are thrilled to observe how masterfully I operate in the world. Your suffering gains meaning because you know that Jesus can and do the impossible, bringing good out of evil. Jesus’ plans will not be thwarted, he does have the final and last word! As you seen how utterly beyond  his wisdom and ways, you get a chance of His Glory. This inspires you to Worship him, bowing before his infinite intelligence and limitless Power. As you open your soul to him in worship, you gain assurance of his unfailing love.

“For I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.                 Jeremiah 29:11

Grace and Peace to You My Friends

  1. I never thought about the Lord like this, “God is the Great “I Am” Reversals.” But how comforting, powerful, and healing to know He turns things, people, and situations around for our good. Thanks for the reminder! 🙂
