Brothers and sisters, if someone is caught in a sin, you who live by the Spirit should restore that person gently. But watch yourselves, or you also may be tempted. Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ. If anyone thinks they are something when they are not, they deceive themselves. Each one should test their own actions. Then they can take pride in themselves alone, without comparing themselves to someone else, for each one should carry their own load. Nevertheless, the one who receives instruction in the word should share all good things with their instructor. Galatians 6:1-6
We are never alone. Even when it might feel that way, God puts people in our lives at strategic moments to comfort us, to give us encouragement, and to help us find strength to face the next trial. The Bible has many examples: Adam had Eve, Moses had Aaron, David had Jonathan, Mary had Elizabeth, Paul had Timothy.
When times are tough, God will be there. He’ll send messengers at the moments when we need them most. They may be strangers, trusted friends, or unexpected acquaintances. They may not be what we expect. Be open to the words and touch of those around you. In this sometimes ugly world, they may just be exactly who and what you need. And be open to how God may use you. You may be that special person in someone’s else’s life, providing them strength to make it through their day as well.
