Encourage one another day after day, as long as it is called “Today,” so that none of you will be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin. Hebrews 3:13
When you’re hurting emotionally, do you isolate yourself from others? Do you avoid church or other godly activities? Understand that eventually, a lack of encouragement and support from fellow Christians will take a toll on your spiritual life.
Why? Because without other believers, you’ll find it difficult to counteract the ungodly messages of the world and will become an easy target for the enemy, whose goal is to discourage you and undermine your effectiveness. This is why it’s so important for you to invest in godly relationships with Christ like friends and mentors who inspires you, hold you accountable, and challenge you spiritually.
It’s in relationships with other believes that you discover and fulfill God’s will for your life. And when you have godly, Spirit filled people loving you, building you up, cheering you on, and ministering to you as you serve them well, that’s when you’re positioned to experience the fullness of the Father’s grace, power, and plan. That’s a blessing you certainly don’t want to miss.
