Spiritual Victory

Romans 13.jpg

Let us lay aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light. Romans 13:12

Today understand that the enemy is trying to prevent you from having an intimate relationship with the Lord. So, for example, he will try to get you to sin so that you’ll feel so much shame that you’ll avoid the Father altogether. But remember, Jesus is the One who make you worthy. Another way the enemy tries to derail your devotion to God is by filling your time with so many distractions that you’re prevented from meditating on His Word.

Why does the enemy go to such lengths? Because he knows that the more you spend time with God, the more impact your life will be for His kingdom. You will discover the joy, peace, wisdom, strength, security, and blessings of being with Jesus and be prepared for life’s difficult challenges. You will also discern the truth about the enemy, who is a deceiver, and you’ll be set free of his bondage. In other words, you’ll be a threat to him.

So don’t let anything stand in the way of your time with God. If you’ve sinned, then confess and repent. If you’ve a lot to do, make Jesus your priority anyway. This is the way to a strong, fruitful life and victory over the enemy.
