Have you ever noticed that Jesus’ Great Commission begins and ends with His power and presence? Christ told the disciples, ” All authority has been given to me in heaven and earth, and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age. (Matthew 28:18-20) It is only relying of Jesus that any of us can take to good news of the gospel to others.
Anything we do for the Father must begin and end with His power and presence. But how does one tap into it? It may surprise you to discover that brokenness is key. Why? Because first we must come to the end of our own ability and strength. Only then do we stop fighting the Lord and discover that God’s power in us can move mountains. We stop relying on ourselves and instead depend on the Lord, who can do anything.
So if you’re feeling weak and ineffective today, rejoice! You’re in the perfect position for God to pour His power into you and work in miraculous ways through you.
