There are hidden blessings to be found in the middle of our troubles. One of them is that we are better able to care for others and show compassion when we have been there ourselves. God is the source of all comfort, and He teaches us this gift as well.
The Lord shows us mercy and gives us peace that passes understanding even in the middle of our greatest pain. Because of this, when others are troubled and struggling, we have learned the true meaning of comfort and true meaning of comfort and we’re able to pass it along. When we walk through difficulties, one of the beautiful things that comes from times is the ability to draw near to God and receive His unlimited supply of comfort.
Do you know someone who is going through some sort of battle? Think back to the ways God reached out to you during your time of pain. Use that knowledge to bring comfort to your friend. Who better to learn from than God Himself?
