Thankfulness #21-Thankful For My Daughter

Give praise to the Lord, proclaim his name; make known the nations what he has done. Sing to him, sing praise to him; tell of all his wonderful acts. Give in his holy name; let the hearts of those who seek the Lord rejoice. Look to the Lord and his strength seek his face always.

As I ponder on all the different things that I am thankful for this past year, I am bless to still having my daughter with us. As many of you known that my daughter Victoria has autoimmune and rare diseases and was in the hospital twice this past year. In May Victoria was admitted to the hospital for having a very high blood pressure. We found our that her levels were through the roof, and then the beginning of June we found out she had a tumor inside of her adrenal gland, and so in July the tumor and gland were removed. As my husband and I sat in the hospital waiting for news we were both afraid that we would loose her, and the doctor told us that before the surgery that it can happen. I continue to ask the Lord to allow my daughter to stay here on earth, but not my will, your will be done, Lord. After a few hours the surgeon came out to share that Victoria’s body had crash more than one (my heart sank) and at the same time I praise God that we still have our daughter. Victoria still have a lot of health issues, and now a neurologist is telling us he believes she has a muscle disease, we will know in time. She has been very emotional at times and having one adrenal gland that doesn’t work much has been hard on her. Each day as I awake from sleep I am so happy she is still with us.

Today I am thankful to be able to have my daughter with us.

Grace and Peace to You My Friends
