Seeing The Good

The God said to Abraham “As for Sarai your wife, you shall not call her name Sarai, but Sarah shall be her name. I will bless her, and indeed I will give you a son by her. Then I will bless her, and she shall be a mother of nations; kings pf peoples will come from her.” Then Abraham fell on his face and laughed, and said in his heart, “Will a child be born to a man to a man one hundred years old? And will Sarah, who is ninety years old bear a child?” Genesis 17:15-17

Are you a glass-half full person, or do you live your life looking for the next tragedy to strike? It can be tempting to dismiss the good we see in our lives because we’re too bust being on the lookout for the negative.

God wants to honor those who are obedient to him, and sometimes his blessings are so good they’re almost unbelievable. Even Abraham, so blessed by God that he chose to father a nation, laughed when God gave him good news.

Grace and Peace to You My Friends
