How Can I Pray For You?

But as for me, I watch fin hope for the Lord, I wait for God my Savior, my God will hear me.                Micah 7:7

Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.    Hebrews 4:16

Ever Present

God is our refuge and strength, an ever present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, thought the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, through its waters roar and foam and the mountains with their surging.                  Psalm 46:1-3

The Lord is your ever-present help. Many people stumble out of bed in the morning and head straight for the coffee pot. Though they are not yet thinking clearly, they are awake to move toward something that will help unscramble their thoughts. Jesus perform a similar function for you when your mind stumbles in his direction. Ask Him to clear out the confusion so you can communicate deeply with Him. You have this amazing capacity because he created you in His own image.

As you wait in the Lord’s presence, he will not only unscramble your thoughts, He will straighten your path through the day. God is sovereign over every aspect of your life, so opening up the way before you is no problem for Him. Some people assume they don’t have time to begin their day with Him. They don’t realize how much he can facilitate their activities, removing obstacles and giving insights that saves time. When you spend precious moments with the Lord, he compensate you generously: He will clarify your thinking and smooth out the circumstances of your life.

Where Do We Find Our Courage? — Seeking Passionate Prayer in Spiritual Warfare

Life gets tough sometimes, but a favorite verse reminds me that we are to be courageous and not be afraid because God is with us. Let’s put this Scripture in context. Moses had just died and the Lord commissioned Joshua to lead His people. He reminds Joshua of all He promised, and that the Lord would […]

When God calls you to His presence — His Purpose In Me

Have you ever felt how God calls you to be in His presence? That moment when you have to let everything you are doing and run to God? The presence of God is with those who calls upon Him, with those who seek Him. His presence is in us, with us and around us. But, there are moments that He only wants from us to give all the attention to Him. That is when God calls you to His presence.

Matthew 11.jpg

Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.                                                                Matthew 11:28-30

If you are wondering if God wants to meet with you, if it’s okay even after all you’ve done wrong at times you’ve already approached Him about a matter, know for certain He does. The Savior always welcomes you into His presence, regardless of how you’re feeling or what mistakes you’ve made. Always

Unfortunately, the emotions of embarrassment, fear, and failure can keep you from realizing this, which is one of the reasons the evil one will tempt you to sin. The devil knows that if he can get you to rebel against the Lord, you’ll feel so guilty about it that you’ll avoid His presence altogether. The more the enemy can get you to focus on your shame and inadequacy, the easier it is for him to keep you from the One who takes it away.

God wants you. Always. Don’t avoid Him for any reason. Instead, go to Him-often! Pray to him, turn from your sin, and accept His grace. His loving arms faithfully await you-always.

Grace and Peace to you my friends.

Fires Do Not Burn Downhill — Dana Bicks

God watched an accident happen to a family of four, and by His grace, the innocent victims walked away. I acknowledge the fact many do not believe in miracles, but you may change your mind when you read this story. First, let me state, a miracle is an event that would be impossible by natural…

His Strength

Psalm 59.jpg

But I will sing of your strength, in the morning I will sing of your love, for you are my fortress, my refuge in times of trouble. You are my strength, I sing praise to you; you, God, are my fortress, my God on whom I can rely.       Psalm 59:16-17

Jesus is your strength! When you begin a day feeling weak and weary, it’s all right. Your weakness can be a reminder of your need for him. Remember that He is with you continually, ready to help you as you go along your way. Take Jesus’ hand in joyful trust, letting him guide you and strengthen you. He delights in helping you, my friend.

Whenever you feel inadequate for the task ahead, stop and think about your resources. He is your strength, and the Lord is infinite: He never runs out of anything. So when you work in collaboration with the Lord, don’t set limits on what you expect to accomplish. He will give you what you need to keep moving forward, step by step. You may not reach the goal as quickly as you’d like, but you will get there in his perfect timing.  refuse to be discourage by delays or detours. Instead, trust that He does know what he is doing, and just take that next step. Perseverance and trust in Him makes a potent combination.
