In our anger we always have a choice. We could lash out and be destructive, or we could allow our anger to evoke change in an unjust situation. It is possible to feel angry, yet exercise restraint and self-control when encountering unpleasant or unfair circumstances.
We can take comfort that God knows how we are feeling in every moment, in every situation, and that he cares deeply. He will help us choose to be loving and grace giving if we feel like our anger is spiraling and out of control. All we have to do is ask Him.
