Matthew 11.jpg

Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.                                                                Matthew 11:28-30

If you are wondering if God wants to meet with you, if it’s okay even after all you’ve done wrong at times you’ve already approached Him about a matter, know for certain He does. The Savior always welcomes you into His presence, regardless of how you’re feeling or what mistakes you’ve made. Always

Unfortunately, the emotions of embarrassment, fear, and failure can keep you from realizing this, which is one of the reasons the evil one will tempt you to sin. The devil knows that if he can get you to rebel against the Lord, you’ll feel so guilty about it that you’ll avoid His presence altogether. The more the enemy can get you to focus on your shame and inadequacy, the easier it is for him to keep you from the One who takes it away.

God wants you. Always. Don’t avoid Him for any reason. Instead, go to Him-often! Pray to him, turn from your sin, and accept His grace. His loving arms faithfully await you-always.

Grace and Peace to you my friends.

Fires Do Not Burn Downhill — Dana Bicks

God watched an accident happen to a family of four, and by His grace, the innocent victims walked away. I acknowledge the fact many do not believe in miracles, but you may change your mind when you read this story. First, let me state, a miracle is an event that would be impossible by natural…

His Strength

Psalm 59.jpg

But I will sing of your strength, in the morning I will sing of your love, for you are my fortress, my refuge in times of trouble. You are my strength, I sing praise to you; you, God, are my fortress, my God on whom I can rely.       Psalm 59:16-17

Jesus is your strength! When you begin a day feeling weak and weary, it’s all right. Your weakness can be a reminder of your need for him. Remember that He is with you continually, ready to help you as you go along your way. Take Jesus’ hand in joyful trust, letting him guide you and strengthen you. He delights in helping you, my friend.

Whenever you feel inadequate for the task ahead, stop and think about your resources. He is your strength, and the Lord is infinite: He never runs out of anything. So when you work in collaboration with the Lord, don’t set limits on what you expect to accomplish. He will give you what you need to keep moving forward, step by step. You may not reach the goal as quickly as you’d like, but you will get there in his perfect timing.  refuse to be discourage by delays or detours. Instead, trust that He does know what he is doing, and just take that next step. Perseverance and trust in Him makes a potent combination.

Strengthen Ourselves In the Lord — Seeking Passionate Prayer in Spiritual Warfare

I am in an uncertain period. I’m without a job, but thankfully received a nice “staying bonus” at my last company and am receiving unemployment. I feel like the Lord has blessed me with this time to strengthen myself in Him, and I am so grateful. I don’t know what you are facing in your […]

In Spite of Sickness

Revelation 21.jpg

Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people and God himself will be with them and be their God. He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.   Revelation 21:3-4

God can work in spite of sickness. He still answers prayer and heals people today, and He still does miracles. In sickness and in hardships, He can work in a person’s life. Even if a person still has the sickness or problem, God can work in spite of it, and give strength. And no matter what happens to our physical bodies here on earth,we have the promise of heaven and ultimate healing in heaven. At that time, God says He will wipe away all our tears. There will be no more death, sorrows, crying or pain.

What a glorious promise! There is more, so much more!, beyond this life on earth. Whatever our limitations, whatever our problems, God promises us that we will one day receive a new body that won’t have the shortcomings we experience today.

And God can also use sickness to bring a person to Himself, can’t He? I know of many people who have come to the Lord in the hospital or when facing death. Suddenly they reevaluate their lives. They wonder, What am I living for? What;s really important in my life? What’s going to happen to me when I die? And they begin to think about eternity.

As the psalmist said, “before I was afflicted I went astray, but now I keep Your word.” (Psalm 119:67) God can work in spite of sickness, and He can work through sickness. Nothing is impossible for God.

Lord, Let Me Love Like You! — Pure Glory

by Hazel Straub God calls us to love others from the heart. Challenges come and expose our hard self-righteous heart, with its lack of love, when we disagree and disapprove of others, who fail to meet our standards. God desires his tender and pure love to dwell in our hearts, reflecting his forgiveness and merciful […]
