Someone Who Listens

Lamentations 3.png

I called on your name, Lord, from the depths of the pit. You heard my plea: “Do not close your ears to my cry for relief.” You came near when I called you, and you said, “Do not fear.”                               Lamentations 3:55-57

The urge to talk to the Creator is part of who we are. It was created in us by the one who made us. Because we are, because we are alive and breathing, we pray. We pray because we simply need to talk with someone and many times we simply need someone just to listen and not judge us as humans have. Sometimes our pain goes so deep within our soul, that we just don’t want to share it with others. At times, in the still quiet of a sleepless night, we need to take our worries and fears, the ones that don’t seem quite so troubling in the daylight, to someone who cares and understands. Then there are days when our hearts are so full of joy, they are about to burst, and we’ve got to share it with the one we know is responsible.

When their comes a time that you seem to be at a loss in knowing what to say, remember that the Spirit himself intercedes for you with groans that words cannot express. Some of your prayers that you consider frantic and unintelligible are actually quite profound. They rise from the depths of your heart, all the way to heaven. To form deep prayers, you need only turn toward Jesus with the concerns that lie heavy on your heart.

Jesus wants you to watch in hope as you wait for him, your Lord and Savior. Wait expectantly: confident that he will do what is best for you. The longer you have to wait, the more you must rely on your trust in him. If you begin to feel anxious, seek his help with short prayers. Jesus fill me with your peace, and he will. As you put your hope in him, his unfailing love rest peacefully upon you. Always remember that the line is always open to our Heavenly Father, and their is never a busy signal, so when you need to talk with someone, just begin talking and believe me, he is always willing to listen.

Do Not Be Anxious!

Anxious.pngRejoice in the Lord always, I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your request to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.                                           (Philippians 4:4-7)

Being anxious at any point of our lives is what we do, and we all seem to do it really well too. We as humans are worry about so many things in our lives each and everyday, we are worry (anxious) about our jobs, family, illness, debt, money, death, relationship, and so much more. If we only take the words of Jesus seriously of not to worry, because by worrying it will not add to our lives. When things begin to happen in life we all need to take it all to God in prayer, and share it with him. He already knows everything of what is going on however he wants you and me to Trust him, and I mean truly trust him.  The book of Philippians was written by the Apostle Paul, a follower of or Lord Jesus Christ. These letters was written to the church at Philippi, ranked among Paul’s favorite. This friendly and personal letter stresses that joy can be found in any situation. Paul delivers his own testimony on the meaning of his present life, encourages, his readers, and instructs them on living in harmony with others, and in obedience to God.  One of the reason to study God’s word it allows the human mind to remember it, as well as our hearts, and when things become anxious for us the words of God comes flowing their our hearts and minds, like streams of water. And once this begins to happen we will begin to calm ourselves down within our soul and turn everything over to God, to just but it all in the hands of God and simply trust Him and Him alone. During those times for me I at times begin to sing a song, Rejoice in Lord, to just focus not on my problems anymore but my focus will turn to Jesus instead. During the times I am overwhelm I sing the song “I am Holding On to You ” Listen Below”

You Can Not Hide From God

Psalm 139.jpgYou have searched me, Lord and you know me. You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar. You discern my going out and my lying down; you are familiar with all my ways. Before a word is on my tongue you, Lord, know it completely. You hem me in behind and before, and you lay your hand upon me. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too lofty for me to attain. Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence? If I go to the heavens, you are there; if I make my bed in the depths, you are there. If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I settle on the far side of the sea, even there your hand will guide me, your right hand will hold me fast. If I say, “Surely the darkness will hide me and the light around me,” even the darkness will not be dark to you; the night will shine like the day, for darkness is a light to you. For you created in my inmost being, you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be. How precious to me are your thoughts, “God!” How vast is the sum of them! Where I to count them, they would outnumber the grains of sand–when I awake, I am still with you. If only you, God would slay the wicked! Away from me, you who are bloodthirsty! They speak of you with evil intent, your adversaries misuse your name. Do I not hate those who hate you, Lord, and abhor those who are in rebellion against you? I have nothing but hatred for them, I count them my enemies. Search me, God, and know my heart, test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.                                     (Psalm 139:1-24)

These are wonderful words from the book of Psalm, we can read them many times to realize that we can never run away from God. There is no sin so horrible where his love cannot reach us no matter how are we may try. Jesus is Immanuel which means God is with us, and who is an ever present help in times of trouble. No matter what happens, Jesus is sufficient to provide whatever we need. Jesus is my Rock and Redeemer, the one I need no matter who maybe around me. There have been many times in my life where my pain has been so deep from others, however you Lord understand what I am going thru. When others seems to say things that are untrue, your love blankets me, and I know that I am safe from harm with the everlasting love of Jesus. You know me and you know my heart from within, search me to see if there is anything that should not be within me, so that I can continue to keep you closer to my than my own breath. May I Worship the one True God only the “Great I Am” the one whose love is unchanging from day to day.  My Lord it is better one day in your counts than a thousand elsewhere; I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of the wicked. (Psalm 85:10) These words from the book of Psalm as also my words Oh Lord! my prayer is that I continue to walk humbly with my God and My redeemer, now and forever.

Amen
