Someone Who Listens

Lamentations 3.png

I called on your name, Lord, from the depths of the pit. You heard my plea: “Do not close your ears to my cry for relief.” You came near when I called you, and you said, “Do not fear.”                               Lamentations 3:55-57

The urge to talk to the Creator is part of who we are. It was created in us by the one who made us. Because we are, because we are alive and breathing, we pray. We pray because we simply need to talk with someone and many times we simply need someone just to listen and not judge us as humans have. Sometimes our pain goes so deep within our soul, that we just don’t want to share it with others. At times, in the still quiet of a sleepless night, we need to take our worries and fears, the ones that don’t seem quite so troubling in the daylight, to someone who cares and understands. Then there are days when our hearts are so full of joy, they are about to burst, and we’ve got to share it with the one we know is responsible.

When their comes a time that you seem to be at a loss in knowing what to say, remember that the Spirit himself intercedes for you with groans that words cannot express. Some of your prayers that you consider frantic and unintelligible are actually quite profound. They rise from the depths of your heart, all the way to heaven. To form deep prayers, you need only turn toward Jesus with the concerns that lie heavy on your heart.

Jesus wants you to watch in hope as you wait for him, your Lord and Savior. Wait expectantly: confident that he will do what is best for you. The longer you have to wait, the more you must rely on your trust in him. If you begin to feel anxious, seek his help with short prayers. Jesus fill me with your peace, and he will. As you put your hope in him, his unfailing love rest peacefully upon you. Always remember that the line is always open to our Heavenly Father, and their is never a busy signal, so when you need to talk with someone, just begin talking and believe me, he is always willing to listen.

Sing and Dance To The Lord

Psalm 147 a.jpgPraise the Lord. How good it is to sing praises to our God, how pleasant and fitting to praise him! The Lord builds up Jerusalem; he gathers the exiles of Israel. He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. He determines the number of the stars and calls them each by name. Great is our Lord and mighty by name. Great is our Lord and mighty in power, his understanding has no limit. The Lord sustains the humble but casts the wicked to the ground. Sing to the Lord with grateful praise; make music to our God on the harp.                                                       Psalm 147:1-7

Jesus is the firm foundation on which you and I can dance and sing praises and continually celebrate knowing Him, just as our soul long to. There are times, however, we feel earthbound and weighed down with all of our cares and concerns. However when we begin to worship Jesus in spirit and truth those cares seems to be less and we feel free to dance. At times when my problems seem so difficult for me to bear, I begin to thank Jesus for who he is and more important for loving me. He never promise any of us that this life of ours here on earth would ever be easy, and some days seem to be difficult to get through, however begin to rejoice. When you feel like crying-rejoice, when you are angry-rejoice, when you feel frustrated-rejoice, when you are in pain from illness or from being hurt-rejoice, no matter what you are going thru in your life-REJOICE in knowing the Risen Lord Jesus Christ! Go to Him in prayer to Be Still and Know He is God (Psalm 46:10) Breathe in the Grace of God knowing his love for you, Breathe out your Praises to Him for who he is, and when you do, you begin to focus totally on Jesus, and the worries that you carry on your shoulders will be light as a feather. Sing loud, God doesn’t care how you sound, dance as freely as you want to, all along just thinking of who he is “The Great I Am”  He is the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end, who is, and who was, and who is to come the Almighty.         (Revelation 1:8)

Does God Cares

Ephesians 3.pngThru many tears and searching scriptures many times, is the same old question we seem to be saying does God really care. We at times seem to say does God hear me when I cry myself to sleep, or the frustration I seem to carry inside of me of wondering about this months bills, Does He care when I see the pain in the eyes of my child when the doctors don’t seem to know how to be able to treat her, or does he even care when someone hurts you so deep within your soul, and you simply and truly don’t understand. Does God cares when others treat his world so terribly and where too many people hate, and we all wondering where is this peace on earth we hear so much of.  Let me share with all of you YES GOD CARES! He understand your pain as well as mine, he watch his son being beaten and crucified to die for our sins. If we look into the old testament to Isaiah 41:10 it says: So do not fear, for I am with you, do not be dismayed, for I am your God, I will strength you and help you. I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. I recently read here on the internet about a little girl who’s dog had died, just read the following

Our 14-year-old dog Abbey died last month. The day after she passed away my 4-year-old daughter Meredith was crying and talking about how much she missed Abbey. She asked if we could write a letter to God so that when Abbey got to heaven, God would recognize her. I told her that I thought we could so, and she dictated these words:

Dear God,

Will you please take care of my dog? She died yesterday and is with you in heaven. I miss her very much. I am happy that you let me have her as my dog even though she got sick. I hope you will play with her. She likes to swim and play with balls. I am sending a picture of her so when you see her you will know that she is my dog. I really miss her.

Love, Meredith

We put the letter in an envelope with a picture of Abbey and Meredith and addressed it to God/Heaven. We put our return address on it. Then Meredith pasted several stamps on the front of the envelope because she said it would take lots of stamps to get the letter all the way to heaven. That afternoon she dropped it into the letter box at the post office. A few days later, she asked if God had gotten the letter yet. I told her that I thought He had.

Yesterday, there was a package wrapped in gold paper on our front porch addressed: “To Meredith” in an unfamiliar hand. Meredith opened it. Inside was a book by Mr. Rogers called, ‘When a Pet Dies.’ Taped to the inside front cover was the letter we had written to God in its opened envelope. On the opposite page was the picture of Abbey & Meredith and this note:

Dear Meredith,

Abbey arrived safely in heaven. Having the picture was a big help and I recognized her right away. Abbey isn’t sick anymore. Her spirit is here with me just like it stays in your heart. Abbey loved being your dog. Since we don’t need our bodies in heaven, I don’t have any pockets to keep your picture in so I am sending it back to you in this little book for you to keep and have something to remember Abbey by.

Thank you for the beautiful letter and Thank your Mother for helping you write it and sending it to me. What a wonderful mother you have!!!

I picked her especially for you. I send my blessings every day and Remember that I Love You Very Much. By the way, I’m easy to find.

I AM WHEREVER THERE IS LOVE!!!

With Much Love … ❤ GOD ❤

Don’t Say You’re Too Busy To Share This …

Just Go Ahead And “DO IT”!!!

🙂 “MAY GOD BLESS YOUR LIFE ALSO”!!! 🙂

As I read this letter from a mom and her little girl it brought tears to my eyes while reading it, because all through out scriptures we can see how much God truly cares for his children, I do hope that you enjoy reading it.
