Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. Be devoted to one another above yourselves. Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. Hope at times we humans have when trouble comes our way, but God wants us to stay hopefully and always in prayer even in the difficult times. When painful circumstances are weighing you down, God wants us to continue to Rejoice in him, “The Great I Am”, to exalt in hope, to leap joyously upward. Although physical jumping is sometimes impossible or inappropriate, your soul can leap upward at any time. As you life your soul up to God in hopeful anticipation. God showers of joy falls upon and within you. The longer and more expectantly you wait in his presence, the more abundantly he can bless you. One way to enhance this transaction is to lift your wide open arms up towards God, as if you were celebrating a triumphant moment in your life. This posture expresses great joy, and God respond by filling your soul with more joy. This puts you on an upward spiral of rejoicing. If you want to verbalize your jubilation, one of the best ways is to speak, sing, or shout, for me I rejoice in singing Praises the Father in Heaven for who he is and for all he has done for me, because everyday is a blessing that comes from him. When some days become difficult for me to move forward I continue to praise him and be in prayer, and the Spirit will speak on my behalf when I cannot find the words.
Rejoice the soul of Your servant, for to You, O Lord, I lift up my soul.

God tells Moses in the book of Exodus 33:14, “My presence will go with you, and I will give you rest. There are times when you are quiet weary, and all you can think about is finding rest. However when we do lay down to finally go to sleep our minds are somehow racing of the many things that we need to take care of. As a result, our awareness of God’s presence grows dim. God assure us through that even when our attention falters, He remains steadfast. We need to rejoice that the God who always take care of us has an infinite attention span! Even the most devoted parents cannot be constantly attentive to our children. We need to be able to sleep sometime, as well as we do get distracted by other demands in our lives. Many deeply loved children have drowned when their devoted parents took their eyes off them so briefly. Only God has the capability of watching over His beloved children continually–without the least interruption. Instead of worrying about where and when you will find rest, remember that God has promise to provide it for us. Worrying wastes vast quantities of energy–the very thing we need most to help us to find a resting place. When you are diving your can with little gas in the tank and the nearest service station was far away, you would drive carefully and steadily so as to minimize gas consumption. Similarly, when you are low on energy you need to minimize consumption of this precious commodity. Go gently and steadily through your day, looking for God to help you. Rest in the knowledge that God watch care over you is perfect. Thus, you make the most of your limited energy. Whenever you are struggling with weariness, come to Jesus and he will give you much needed rest.
