There comes a time in everyone’s life we need to hear from people we care about such as our family and friends how much we mean to them. It is human nature to know and understand how much we are loved by anyone. Their are also times in our journey of life we feel no one cares how we feel and even at times we may feel that no one cares if you live or die and what is the purpose of this thing we call life. If we open up the scriptures we will find many scriptures that can tell us how God tells us we are precious in his eyes.
2 Peter 1:3-4 His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness. Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature, having escaped the corruption in the world caused by evil desires.
Isaiah 49:16 See, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands
Romans 5:8 But God demonstrates his own love for us in this, While we were still sinners Christ died for us.
There are so many scriptures that can and does tell all of us how much God truly loves us and how precious we are to him. Here is a poem I would love to share with you that hangs on my kitchen wall.
You are the Apple of God’s Eye!
God knew you before you were ever born,
and there has not been one moment when
He has not loved you, He created you in His image,
And there is no one else like you,
You are special, You are the apple of God’s Eye!
The bottom line is this you are God’s child, you are special, what you may feel or think, God cares and understands who you are. So if you ever doubt at anytime now or any tomorrows to come, remember this you are the Apple of God’s Eye
The Purpose Driven Life written by Rich Warren, read when you can from his book. You are not an accident. Even before the universe was created, God had you in mind, and he planned you for his purpose. These purposes will extend far beyond the few years you will spend on earth. You were made to last forever!
Grace and Peace to You My Friends
