After the loss of our sweet babies in April, J and I were hopeful to try again. After just a few months, we were excited that our dream may be coming true. The cravings and mood swings were in full force. I was sleepy, nauseous, hungry, hormonal, bloated, and I had to pee about every two hours. It seemed like a wonderfully miserable time.

And then the bleeding started. We were bummed, but thought we’d just wait another month… Until the night I called J into the bathroom. The pain, blood, and contractions were clear. We had also lost this sweet baby. The loss of this child was such a shock. After all, we weren’t quite sure yet if I was even pregnant.

This baby was supposed to be our rainbow baby, but yet we’ve collected another jewel in Heaven. Lucy Grace, Arden Micah, and Orion Sage. Three….. three babies in Heaven. Our little family.

It’s been just over a week since the loss of our child. The raw emptiness still takes my breath away, as I sob and gasp for air. J still holds me as I drift off into space, not really knowing what to do with myself. Getting out of bed, eating, and connecting with people have become chores in and of themselves. J and I go through the motions. We laugh and talk, work and visit, but inside we both feel numb, empty… like something crucial is missing. We’ve lost our joy. We’ve lost our confidence and security. We’ve lost the excitement of trying to have a family.

Our first miscarriage four months ago broke our hearts. This time, it carries fear and doubt, alongside the pain and shock. Do we dare try again? How can we continue to hope, after this?

After a rough week of falling away from each other in our grief, it became clear that now more than ever, we need to lean on our Savior and each other… And so we talked. We held each other, as poured our hearts out to the Lord and to each other. We named our child, Lucy Grace. We went on a spontaneous date. We came together and asked the Lord for help. It’s still fresh and raw. I still don’t know what to do with myself. I still fell numb and broken and empty and vulnerable. I still break out in sobbing tears. My hormones and baby belly are still reminders of what was. But through it all, the Lord is putting us back together again…

15 Scriptures to lean on after miscarriage, when the grief seems unbearable and all seems gone…

  1. 1 Samuel 1:27-28
I prayed for this child, and the Lord has granted me what I asked of Him. So now I give him to the Lord. For his whole life he will be given over to the Lord.” And he worshiped the Lord there.
  2. Job 11:13-19
Yet if you devote your heart to Him and stretch out your hands to Him, if you put away the sin that is in your hand and allow no evil to dwell in your tent, then, free of fault, you will lift up your face; you will stand firm and without fear. You will surely forget your trouble, recalling it only as waters gone by. Life will be brighter than noonday, and darkness will become like morning. You will be secure, because there is hope; you will look about you and take your rest in safety. You will lie down, with no one to make you afraid, and many will court your favor.
  3. Jeremiah 29:11-12
For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on Me and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you.
  4. Romans 12:12
Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.
  5. Exodus 23:25-26
Worship the Lord your God, and His blessing will be on your food and water. I will take away sickness from among you, and none will miscarry or be barren in your land. I will give you a full life span.
  6. Judges 13:2-3, 24
A certain man of Zorah, named Manoah, from the clan of the Danites, had a wife who was childless, unable to give birth. The angel of the Lord appeared to her and said, “You are barren and childless, but you are going to become pregnant and give birth to a son. … The woman gave birth to a boy and named him Samson. He grew and the Lord blessed him.
  7. Matthew 5:4
Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.
  8. Genesis 8:11-14
Abraham and Sarah were already very old, and Sarah was past the age of childbearing. So Sarah laughed to herself as she thought, “After I am worn out and my lord is old, will I now have this pleasure?” Then the Lord said to Abraham, “Why did Sarah laugh and say, ‘Will I really have a child, now that I am old?’ Is anything too hard for the Lord? I will return to you at the appointed time next year, and Sarah will have a son.”
  9. Luke 1:7, 13-15
But they were childless because Elizabeth was not able to conceive, and they were both very old. But the angel said to him: “Do not be afraid, Zechariah; your prayer has been heard. Your wife Elizabeth will bear you a son, and you are to call him John. He will be a joy and delight to you, and many will rejoice because of his birth, for he will be great in the sight of the Lord. He is never to take wine or other fermented drink, and he will be filled with the Holy Spirit even before he is born.
  10. Psalm 37:4
Take delight in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart.
  11. John 16:22-24
So with you: Now is your time of grief, but I will see you again and you will rejoice, and no one will take away your joy. In that day you will no longer ask Me anything. Very truly I tell you, My Father will give you whatever you ask in My name. Until now you have not asked for anything in My name. Ask and you will receive, and your joy will be complete.
  12. Psalm 119:49-50
Remember your word to your servant, for You have given me hope. My comfort in my suffering is this: Your promise preserves my life.
  13. Hebrews 10:35-36
So do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded. You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what He has promised.
  14. Hebrews 11:1
Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.
  15. 2 Thessalonians 1:11
With this in mind, we constantly pray for you, that our God may make you worthy of His calling, and that by His power He may bring to fruition your every desire for goodness and your every deed prompted by faith.

“You are beautiful. I know, because I created you.” – God.
I don’t know about you, but it’s easy for me to get caught up in the everyday of our lives. I get so focused on the here and now… on my curves and rolls, on the unmade dishes, on our current situation in life… that I forget to step back and remember just what a miracle this life is. It’s easy to thank the Lord for the obvious blessings in our lives. I thank him daily for an amazing husband. I thank Him for J’s job and our home. I thank Him for our kitty. I thank Him for what He gives, but I rarely thank Him for the miracle of life that He gave me or for the amazing relationship I can have with Him. The fact that the Lord of the universe wants to love and care for me deeply and intimately still overwhelms me to this day. I’ve never deserved His love and grace, and I never will, yet He still offers it. he still pursues me. He still wants me and calls me His beautiful one.

Knit Together
It is easy to forget that we are not here by accident. There was no explosion of atoms that suddenly became you. You did not suddenly decide one day to walk upright and speak intelligently. You were not a mere accident, an “oops” resulting from an unplanned moment of intimacy. The Heavenly Father was diligently at work, setting forth a plan for your life. In Jeremiah 1:5, the Lord declares that He knew you before He created you, and He set you apart for a very special purpose. Before you were even conceived, much thought and planning went into who you would be. In Psalm 139:13-14, the author reveals that the Lord knit him together, a carefully crafted being. He praises the Lord for being “fearfully and wonderfully made.” The word fearfully here does not mean timidly. The Hebrew word used here for fearfully, yare’, means reverently or awe inspiringly. Like an artist, He lovingly designed every intricate aspect of you down to the finest of details, including the tilt of your nose, the slope of your eyes, and the arc of your arch. He wove together your DNA to create the unique and beautiful woman you are today.

The idea of being delicately knit together is one that resonates with me. The planning and design going into each creation is critical. What type of fibers do I use? How much fiber to use? What color combinations? Will my project be practical or merely decorative? How long will it take to complete? Do I need a pattern? I don’t know how many times I have had to tear apart my knitting and start all over again, wondering why I’m even attempting something so complicated, because of a single dropped stitch along the way. God definitely does not need a pattern and absolutely does not make mistakes. He certainly does not drop stitches! The thing about knitted items is they are made from one single strand fiber, looped together in an intricate pattern, to create a something greater than itself. That strand by itself is weak, but once knit into a beautiful design, it is suddenly quite strong. It is durable. It stretches and adapts. It is versatile. It can be made of the most basic wool fiber, rustic and tough, or as airy and soft as mohair. When it comes to the Lord’s knitting, no pattern is ever the same. We are as distinct as the snowflakes. Like Psalm 139:14 declares, His works are wonderful!

Masterpiece
Have you ever looked at something so breathtakingly beautiful and wondered how it can possibly exist? The first time I experienced the Northern Lights, in my Midwestern backyard, I was dumbstruck. Those dancing green lights in the sky were unlike anything I had ever beheld. In that moment, reverence and awe filled my heart for the Creator and reminded me once again, just how big the universe really is and just how minuscule I am in it. Over and over again, the Scriptures reveal the masterpiece that is the Lord’s creation. He Himself proclaims His creation as “good.” This is the same God who spoke the cosmos into existence, who numbered the stars in the sky and knows them all by name. He is the same God who feeds the sparrows and waters the lilies of the valley. He makes all things beautiful in His time. (Eccl. 3:11) His creations sing His praises and give Him glory, yet it is Man that He set apart, distinct from all other creatures. It is Man that is made in His image. Man is His ultimate masterpiece. How can the God who speaks complete solar systems into existence love someone as small and insignificant as me?

King David also pondered this question. In Psalm 8:3-4, he asks, “What is man that You are mindful of him, and the son of man that You visit him?” The Hebrew word for mindful is zakar, meaning to remember, to mention, or to think on. It is easy to get caught up in this life and forget that the Lord not only made us, but takes the time to dwell with us, and more profoundly, dwells in us through the Holy Spirit. David used the Hebrew word paqad, “to visit”, implying more than the polite occasional guest, but to seek, to want, and to enjoin to. We are set apart, above all of creation, to be companions to the Living God. Isaiah 43:7 declares, “Everyone who is called by My name, whom I have created for My glory, I have formed him, yes, I have made him.” He goes out of His way to pursue us. He showers us with blessings and shows us His love and His thoughts for us. “How great are your works, oh Lord, how profound are your thoughts.” (Psalm 92:5) Like a groom thinking on his bride, the Lord’s thoughts are always turned back to us.

In fact, you are cherished…. yes, YOU are cherished by the Creator of the universe, who delicately placed each individual star in the cosmos. You were chosen, sought after, and called. You were bought with a price, the blood of His perfect Lamb. You are His precious child, adopted into the Royal Priesthood, not a step, foster, or half child, but a full heir with His Holy Son, Jesus, and a daughter of the Most High King. You are dearly loved, unconditionally, beyond any human comprehension, a love from which you cannot be separated. You are His beloved, and He takes joy in you. You were made in His image, meticulously knit together in the womb, and anointed, set aside for a holy purpose. You are God’s workmanship. He calls you holy, righteous, and blameless. He adorns you in His robes. You are broken, yet He transforms you and makes you into a new creation. You are complete in Him. You are His servant, His bride, and His temple. By His grace, you are justified and sanctified. You are not merely an unworthy dust speck in the vast cosmos. He calls you His friend, for you are His.

In His Eyes (Guess Blogger)

Hi, I’m Crystal, I am wife to husband Michael, mother to 3 growing kids- Anna, Grace & Jonathan. God’s Word is my greatest passion. I studied Theology (Bible) at Dallas Christian College where I had the best professors (I am a little partial) who not only taught me about the Bible but because of them, I fell in love with God’s Word. I enjoy drawing and painting when I can squeeze it in. When you mix a Bible student with an artist you get me, many of my recent paintings reflect whatever I was studying at the time. I am enjoying this because when I show my paintings I am then able to share my passion, God’s word.

gods-grace-is-personal

One day we were driving home and I had music on as I often do… my 7 yr old little girl began to sing a song “In the eyes” (1GN).

I am valuable
The singer begins by singing about how the world views you, broken. She then says “you are perfect your worth more then you know… in the eyes of the one who made you”. I was just listening to the words that day, it is a song that seems to speak to me because I don’t think I’m anyone important and know I’m a little weird (I’ve embraced this now).

She is Perfect
But when my little girl began singing this that day I listened closely as she said
“You are treasured, you are beautiful, in the eyes…in the eyes, of the one who made you. You are perfect your worth more than you know, in the eyes… in the eyes, who made you”.
She was singing the word “you” but it was as if she were singing “I”.

In our Father’s eyes
Tears ran down my face as I listened to her continue to sing this song that talks about who we are in our heavenly Father’s eyes. This is the little girl we were told to go abort because the doctors in that room didn’t value her life, she was broken. This is a little girl who the world labels as different and not worth much. But as the song says “you are the vision of the Father’s heart”. This echoes scripture

Palms 139:13-16 says
“For you have created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful; I know that full well. I was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book ” (emphasis add mine)

Point of View
I see my daughter through the eyes of a mother and love her more then words can say. But I have struggled with and questioned why God would choose this life for her and haven’t always praised Him for making her the way He did.
Listening to her sing the words to this song that is telling her she who she is in God’s eyes, she is not “broken” but “perfect” just the way He made her.
This is what brought tears to my eyes… that she was singing these words!
I pray they will be words she will never forget!
The songs ends by repeating
“when the world has told you lies… you are priceless in His eyes”

I can’t think of anything better to fill this little girl’s thoughts with and even my own.
She is surrounded by people who love her and know she is priceless but the world will not always tell her this. I don’t look forward to the day she understands them.
I certainly don’t understand God’s ways but I take comfort in knowing that she is treasured and perfect in His eyes and He loves her much more than I ever could.

       MY PRAYER
Father, you know how I have struggled and every question I have asked. Thank you that I can come to you with my questions and tears. I may never get the answers I think I want so badly. But, I am given the promises that you won’t waste anything (Jeremiah 29:11) and that even the things that are not good, the heartache of this world, you will work it together for good (Romans 8:28). Thank you for this song that reminds me that I am your beloved daughter. Thank you that Grace will grow up hearing that she is priceless in your eyes. Thank you for Your Word that tells us just how much you love us.
In Jesus name, I pray, Amen

Having A Grateful Heart Everyday

HebrewsTherefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful and to worship God acceptable with reverence and awe, for our “God is a consuming fire.”                                                       Hebrews 12-28:29

We spend most of our days running around and trying to accomplish everything on our to do list. But, the one important thing on our to do list is having a grateful to God for all of his blessings he has bestow on us.

slow-down-take-a-deep-breath-whats-the-hurry_-why-wear-yourself-out_-just-what-are-you-after-anyway_-but-you-say-i-cant-help-it-im-addic.png

A thankful attitude open windows of heaven through which spiritual blessings fall freely. All that God requires to be able to rain those blessings down upon us is our gratitude! It seems such a simple choice, yet we stumble over it almost everyday of our lives. Let God help you become more grateful as you can received bountiful blessings through those openings into eternity. As you go about your day, keep these things in mind. Throughout the Bible, God repeatedly command thankfulness because it is vital to our well-being, since God is our Creator, Savior and King. When you thank God we acknowledge how much he has done for you. This attitude brings joy both to us and God. Giving thanks is similar to priming a pump with water so that it will produce more water. Since thankfulness is one of the spiritual blessings that he has bestow on us, it will increase along with others when we prime God with thanksgiving. Remember that God is a God of all grace. When we fail in our endeavor to be thankful, simple ask him for forgiveness. As we freely receive this priceless gift-thinking about what it cost God, his only son on a cross for you and me. Look up to God and see spiritual blessings cascading down upon us through heave’s wide-open windows.

In Your Hands Lord

Jeremiah 18.jpgThis is the word that came to Jeremiah from the Lord. Go down to the potter’s house, and there I will give you my message. So I went down to the potter’s house, and I saw him working at the wheel. But the pot was shaping from the clay was marred in his hands, so the potter formed it into another pot, shaping it as seemed best to him. Then the word of the Lord came to me. He said, “Can I not do with you, Israel, as the potter does? declares the Lord. Like clay in the hands of the potter, so are you in my hand, Israel.                                        Jeremiah 18:1-6 NIV

Jeremiah, led an emotionally, tortured life, yet remained steadfastly faithful to God, and the call to deliver his stern message. He spoke to Judah in the last decades before Babylon destroyed the nation.

The life of Jeremiah was never an easy one to say the least, God had called Jeremiah to be a prophet, and I am sure at times he was not thrill with that job at all. However God knew Jeremiah’s heart and he knew he had called the right person for the job he had in mind. If we all can take a moment to realize that God also has a job in mind for each one of us, I am not sure what God is calling you to do in your life, and it may not be an easy one at that.  As God is shaping each one of us into what he is calling us to do, it can be at times very painful, however in the end, it will be a beautiful thing. We all have a passion in our lives, something that God has given to us, and when we do what we love to do it brings us great joy. I have read more than once the book called “You were Born for This” by Rick Warren, and as you read thru this book you will begin to think what God is calling you to do with your own life. Rick Warren talks about the Miracle Life Keys—The master key is an urgent prayer to be sent by God on a miracle mission. Your request alerts Heaven that you are more than just available, you’re committed to respond whenever God nudges you. It’s called the Master Key because your urgent plea opens the door to a life of miracles. The People Key–readies you for the inevitable moments when Heaven’s agenda collides with your own. When you apply this key, you put yourself and Heaven  an notice that you have decided to make God’s heart for people your won. Because you now share His passion, you’ll be prepared to deliver miracles to whomever He ask whenever He asks. The Spirit Key—-prepares you to cooperate with God’s spirit, especially in regard to His supernatural power. The action of this key releases you from any false assumptions about your ability to do a miracle and aligns you with the supernatural power that’s always required to accomplish a miracle outcome. As you learn more about the Spirit works through you, you will come to rely on Him with increasing confidence. The Risk Key—shows you how to intentionally live in such a way that you take risks of faith, relying on God to accomplish what He wants done. You act in dependence on God despite feelings of discomfort or fear, trusting that He will bridge the gap between what you can do and what only He can do through you. When He bridges that gap with a miracle, His power and glory are on display. You see my friends God is the potter and we are His clay, and he will shape our lives into what He has called us to do here on earth, and all we need to do is simply trust in Him.

God’s Love

Jeremiah 31.jpgThe Lord appeared to us in the past, “saying: ” I have loved you with an everlasting love, I have drawn you with unfailing kindness.  (Jeremiah 31:3)

Our God has loved you and me since before he began laying the foundations of the universe. He has loved us since before there were plants and stars, since before there were mountains, and oceans, before there were grass blades and snowflakes. Before all that God, was already loving you and me with a love that will never ends. What’s more, he has drawn us to “himself” with loving-kindness. “Nowhere do we see that loving kindness as vividly displayed as on Calvary’s cross. There, God drew us to himself because despite his love for us, we had revolted against him. We were lost in our rebellion. In extreme love, unbelievable love, the Father sent his Son to live a perfect life in our place, to suffer our death on the cross in punishment for our sins, and to rise from death, never to die again. Because of this wonderful life, we too have eternal life.

God’s Plan

God's Plan.pngFor I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.  (Jeremiah 29:11)

As I re-read these words from the book of Jeremiah this morning, I come to realize that God’s plans for my own life as well as for my children are never the same as I would ever thought they would be. As we are growing up we have so many dreams for our own lives, what type of career we would have, if we would marry or not, and how many children we would love to have and of course we would love to live at, the city, beach, mountains etc. However, we never could see or even image for any bumps along the journey of life. But, we all go thru it, rather it is a job loss or opportunity, to buying our own home, or even we are hit with any health issues for us or our family. As we are all going thru life how many times did we stop to ask God for his direction for our own lives, and have we truly listen to what he just might be saying to us. Have we put our children’s in the hands of God as well, yes we are their parents however God’s plans is always better than we can ever dream of or even imagine for us and even our children.

I remember learning that I was going to be a mom to my oldest daughter, the joy within me was wonderful, this was something I always wanted to be and that was a mom. My daughter and I are very close, as I little child before her brother came we always did everything together and I cherish each moment. I remember oh so well, dancing with her in my arms to her baby lullabies. I remember when she was on the back deck in her stroller looking at the trees and listening to the birds singing and she herself was laughing, they were bringing her joy. I realize then thru her eyes the beautiful world that God has created. As she was growing up she was sick so much and like any mom it breaks your heart when your child is ill. For many years we never knew what she had and more important to take her pain away. Then one day I heard the news from her doctor that she has lupus, I was shock, angry, I got mad, and how I wish it was me and not my child. As I was going thru scriptures I cried not knowing what I would do next, when I came across this scripture from Jeremiah 29:11. “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord.” I knew then that God loves my daughter more than her dad and I would ever love her or even comprehend the love that God has for his children. I know that God has a plan for her life as well as my own, and his plan is so much better than ours. Even thro she is chronically ill God can still use her to glorified his kingdom. She runs a blog about all chronic illness, as well as a page on face book. She also leads more than one Bible study for woman on line, for the woman who is sick like her, some who are busy with life and family, and she has also written a book. A devotional and prayer book for thirty days which is called Honest Moments with God. I was once told by a pastor as long as you have the willing heart God will use you. Go to God, search thru scriptures as well as thru your daily prayers for God to share with you His Plans for your life, and believe me it is better than you can ever dream or imagine.

Son of the Living God

Peter.pngWhen Jesus came to the region of Caesarea, Philippi. he ask his disciples, “Who do people say the Son of Man is? They replied, “Some say John the Baptist: others say Elijah: and still others, Jeremiah, or one of the prophets.” But what about you? he asked Who do you say I am? Simon Peter answered, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.” Jesus replied, ” Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by flesh and blood, but my Father in heaven. And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gate of Hades, will not overcome it. I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. Then he ordered his disciples not to tell anyone that he was the Messiah.                                               ( Matthew 16:13-20)

If Jesus was walking the earth today as he did so many years ago would any of us recognize him? Would we be willing to following like Peter, James, John, Matthew, and the other disciples did, to wondering who is this strange man and what is the Kingdom of God all about, or we would just go thru life not curious at all. None of us today can truly understand or know what any of Jesus disciples could of been be thinking at that time. They all were willing to give up everything they ever knew and just follow him why because Jesus said come follow me and I will make you fishers of men. Could you or I be willing to give up our jobs, family, friends and all we knew of to do the same to , I would like to think I would no doubt what so ever. I grew up in a church learning about God the father, Jesus his Son, and the Holy Spirit, the Holy Trinity. I went thru the motions but did I truly know Christ at all, the older I have become I began to ask the question like so many others also have, is this all there is to life, what on earth was I born for, what is the reason I am here. Many years ago I had read more than once the Purpose Driven Life by Rick Warren as well as You were born for This, two great books to read. So I began to search over and over, seeking to know and understand God more than I ever did before. I was always involved in my church in one way or another but over the last few years my hunger to understand God’s word the Bible grew inside of me, the more I read and understand the more I want to learn more and more about who this Jesus was, and is and forever will be. For me I can truly say Jesus you are the Messiah the Son of our Living God. The Jesus who went so willing to the cross to die in my place, if you ever wondering how much Jesus loves you, he spread out his arms to be nail to a cross and died in your and my place, that is how much he loves us. Someone once ask me, Eileen, how do you know that God truly does exist, my replied, I know that I know deep within my heart he does. Look all around you right where you are, yes their are things they may look ugly but, my friend look pass it, look with your heart besides your eyes, to see all the beauty that God has created for us in this world. Springtime will be here soon when all the things we know of begin to bloom, look in the eyes of your child with all of their wonder, let me tell you ask a little one this question is God real? and they will tell you of course he is real mommy or daddy he lives within my heart. (wow) Take a walk if you can in the mountains, along the ocean, in a city, anywhere and you will see all the beauty that God has created for you and me.

Jesus is asking You and Me, who do you say that I am

ME: YOU ARE THE MESSIAH, THE SON OF THE LIVING GOD

Faith (Part 2)

1 Thessalonians.pngRead 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus (NIV) Philippians 4:4 Rejoice in the Lord always, I will say it again, Rejoice! (NIV)

Giving thanks to God no matter what we are going thru in our lives is never easy, and yet God want us to. You no doubt are saying to yourself why, doesn’t he know that right now I feel as thro I am in a pit, a hole, down in the valley of life. Yes God knows all of that, he understands your pain and he sees every tear that you or I have ever shed. That is where Faith comes into play. It is those times in our lives that you or I may feel as thro the world is against us, Praise God, when darkness seems all around you Praise God, when you don’t know how you will pay your bills, Praise God, when you are walking the floor at night watching as your loved one is in terrible pain Praise God, no matter how you or I ever feel,  at that one moment we need to Praise God anyway. You may be thinking right now how can I possible say this. You see my dear friends I too have been in the valley of life, more times than I could ever want or care to. I am a mother of a chronic ill child who deals with lupus as well as other autoimmune diseases. Believe me more than once I can truly say that I have yelled at our God, the God of all creation I was so angry because watching a baby go thru all she has gone thru. More than ten years going from one doctor to another with no answers of why she had so much pain, and I had so many questions and yet doctors could not give me an honest answer of W_H_Y. It was not until she was nineteen years old that we finally got an answer and the fear cripple me, lupus a disease with no cure. I remember so well one day while alone in my car, I began to yell at God the why question, Lord you bless my womb why my child, what has this precious child done to you for her to have lupus. Then stillness, and than in my very soul, I heard these words, then why MY SON in your place at Calvary, Wow, I never ask that question again. But then I started to read scriptures even more, I prayed before ever appointment (even to this day) before her test she goes thru, when she has to have her chemo treatment, my daughter and I prayed, thanking God for the day, for his blessings but more important to guide the doctors and nurses who are involved. Even thro I may not know what will happen God has given me such peace within my own spirit that no human can rob me of. When I feel the grip of fear trying to get a whole on me I remember the words from the prophet Jeremiah chapter 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.  I don’t know what the future wholes for my daughter but God does, so I need not to fear, but just have the faith that God is in control, and believe me he is.

Grace and Peace to you my friend
