Nothing To Fear

Luke 2bAnd there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid.” I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord. This will be a sigh to you. You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in  a manger.” Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angels, praising God and saying”

Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests. When the angels had left them and gone into heaven, the shepherds said to one another, “Let’s go to Bethlehem and see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has told us about.” So they hurried off and found Mary and Joseph, and the baby, who was lying in the manger. When they had seen him, they spread the word concerning what has been told them about this child, and all who heard it was amazed at what the shepherds said to them. But Mary treasured up all them in her heart. The shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things they had heard and seen, which were just as they had been told.                                                                     Luke 2:8-20

keld-vision.jpgTry to imagine if you could that you were a shepherd on the night that our Savior was born, you may of been tending the sheep or perhaps having a nap, and then all of a sudden up in the sky was God’s heavenly angels declaring the birth of a Savior. I am sure like many of today’s world all were grip was fear, just as many today have so many things that they are afraid of. Afraid of what tomorrow will bring, afraid to be alone, afraid of death, illness, loosing a job, a love one, too many times our days seem to bring us so much fear, fear of being different, fear of the way someone may treated us or look at us. If we learn to continue to stay in God’s word daily we can read these words as follows: For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of sound mind.                                 2 Timothy 1:7

Fear is something that satan tries to input into our minds and it is not something that comes from God. You are precious in God’s eyes, you are his child and his love for you is unconditional that our minds cannot truly understands how much he loves his children. On this Holy Night, take a moment or many and just close your eyes and imagine you being in Bethlehem and walking to the manger, as you look into this wonderful sight, of God coming down here on earth as an infant, just look deep within the manger to see what love is. “For God so loved the world, that he sent his one and only Son into this world.      John 3:16christmas-1010749_960_720

Does God Cares

Ephesians 3.pngThru many tears and searching scriptures many times, is the same old question we seem to be saying does God really care. We at times seem to say does God hear me when I cry myself to sleep, or the frustration I seem to carry inside of me of wondering about this months bills, Does He care when I see the pain in the eyes of my child when the doctors don’t seem to know how to be able to treat her, or does he even care when someone hurts you so deep within your soul, and you simply and truly don’t understand. Does God cares when others treat his world so terribly and where too many people hate, and we all wondering where is this peace on earth we hear so much of.  Let me share with all of you YES GOD CARES! He understand your pain as well as mine, he watch his son being beaten and crucified to die for our sins. If we look into the old testament to Isaiah 41:10 it says: So do not fear, for I am with you, do not be dismayed, for I am your God, I will strength you and help you. I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. I recently read here on the internet about a little girl who’s dog had died, just read the following

Our 14-year-old dog Abbey died last month. The day after she passed away my 4-year-old daughter Meredith was crying and talking about how much she missed Abbey. She asked if we could write a letter to God so that when Abbey got to heaven, God would recognize her. I told her that I thought we could so, and she dictated these words:

Dear God,

Will you please take care of my dog? She died yesterday and is with you in heaven. I miss her very much. I am happy that you let me have her as my dog even though she got sick. I hope you will play with her. She likes to swim and play with balls. I am sending a picture of her so when you see her you will know that she is my dog. I really miss her.

Love, Meredith

We put the letter in an envelope with a picture of Abbey and Meredith and addressed it to God/Heaven. We put our return address on it. Then Meredith pasted several stamps on the front of the envelope because she said it would take lots of stamps to get the letter all the way to heaven. That afternoon she dropped it into the letter box at the post office. A few days later, she asked if God had gotten the letter yet. I told her that I thought He had.

Yesterday, there was a package wrapped in gold paper on our front porch addressed: “To Meredith” in an unfamiliar hand. Meredith opened it. Inside was a book by Mr. Rogers called, ‘When a Pet Dies.’ Taped to the inside front cover was the letter we had written to God in its opened envelope. On the opposite page was the picture of Abbey & Meredith and this note:

Dear Meredith,

Abbey arrived safely in heaven. Having the picture was a big help and I recognized her right away. Abbey isn’t sick anymore. Her spirit is here with me just like it stays in your heart. Abbey loved being your dog. Since we don’t need our bodies in heaven, I don’t have any pockets to keep your picture in so I am sending it back to you in this little book for you to keep and have something to remember Abbey by.

Thank you for the beautiful letter and Thank your Mother for helping you write it and sending it to me. What a wonderful mother you have!!!

I picked her especially for you. I send my blessings every day and Remember that I Love You Very Much. By the way, I’m easy to find.

I AM WHEREVER THERE IS LOVE!!!

With Much Love … ❤ GOD ❤

Don’t Say You’re Too Busy To Share This …

Just Go Ahead And “DO IT”!!!

🙂 “MAY GOD BLESS YOUR LIFE ALSO”!!! 🙂

As I read this letter from a mom and her little girl it brought tears to my eyes while reading it, because all through out scriptures we can see how much God truly cares for his children, I do hope that you enjoy reading it.

Grace and Peace to You My Friends

DO NOT BE AFRAID

bible-1805790_960_720

Do not be afraid, I am sure some of you maybe thinking, well that’s easy for me to say. But it is more than that, these words I speak of are taking from the Gospel of Luke in the second chapter. Read these words that are taken from Luke, Do not be afraid, I bring you good news that will be to all people, For unto you this day in the city of David a savior has been born. This will be a sign to you, you will find a baby wrapped in swaddling clothes and lying in a manger. Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying. Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rest. (New International Bible) As I shared with you in a previous writing that our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ was born in a stable among the animals. Of all the people in the world at that time that God sent his heavenly angels to the lowest of mankind, to the shepherds. Shepherds worked in their fields taking caring for their sheep’s, they didn’t smell to good, and they were poor men, but God felt it was important to send his angels to the shepherds, to announce the birth of his son, and not to any king who lived in a palace. What God was seeking back then and even today,on the day his son was born in Bethlehem was the hearts of all his people, and not something that can be brought. It was necessary for Jesus to be born because he would be the bridge between us and God. I could never imagine spending all of eternity away from God, because for me I can never be able to face each day with out God’s unconditional love for me, his child. When Jesus walk the earth many years ago he never promise to any of us that this life here on earth would be easy for us. If you look in the book of Hebrews chapter 13:5 NEVER WILL I LEAVE YOU, NEVER WILL I FORSAKE YOU. My friend God has never and I mean never broken a promise to his people, can any of us say the same, that we never broken any promise we made to God. Sometimes their are promises we make when we are in a jam, and when things get better we forget the promise that we did make to God in our difficult times, and yet he continues to love you and me. When things get hard for you or me instead of us running to our Lord and laying our problems at his feet, we run totally away from him, instead of towards him. The best friend that anyone could have is Jesus he will never disappoint you, his love will always be unconditional. On this Christmas Day I ask you won’t you open your hearts to the baby in the manager, as well as the child who grew up name Jesus, and once you accept Him as your own personnel Lord and Savior you will never regret it, because I never had.

Merry Christmas to one and all
