Hope

Hope.pngWhen God made his promise to Abraham, since there was no one greater for him to swear by, he swore by himself, saying, I will surely bless you and give you many descendants. And so after waiting patiently, Abraham received what was promised. People swear by someone greater than themselves, and the oath confirms what is said and puts and end to all argument. Because God wanted to make the unchanging nature of his purpose very clear to the heirs of what was promised, he confirmed it with an oath. God did this so that by two unchangeable things in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have fled to take hold of the hope set before us may be greatly encouraged. We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. It enters the inner sanctuary behind the curtain, where one forerunner, Jesus, has entered on our behalf. He has become a high priest forever, in the order of Melchizedek.

Hebrews 6:13-20

Sometimes when life is very difficult for any of us it is very hard for us to have hope in our future. We feel that no matter what we say or do we think to ourselves, what is the use, nothing for me will ever change for me. What I can tell you is this that there is always hope for all of us, we need to only believe that we serve an Awesome God, that he loves all of his children and the fact of the matter is this, that God has never broken a promise to his children. Jesus tells us in the gospel of Matthew 6:33 But first seek ye the kingdom of God and all of his righteousness and all of these things will be added unto you. In other words look to God and God only to supply all of our needs in this world, you can never go wrong with God.

Grace and Peace to You My Friends
