I remember my affliction and my wandering, the bitterness and the gall. I well remember them, and my soul downcast within me and therefore I have hope; Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumer, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. I say to myself, “The Lord is my portion; therefore I will wait for him. Lamentations 3:23-24
God’s love never fails and neither are his blessings to all of his children, they are new for us each morning. We can begin each day knowing that his wonderful reservoir of blessings is full to the brim. This knowledge helps us to wait for him, entrusting our long unanswered prayers into God’s care and for his keeping. God assures us that not one of our prayers has slip pass him, unnoticed. God’s fountain of limitless love and unfailing compassion. As you and I wait in his presence, these divine nutrients are freely available. We may drink without cost from the spring of the water of life. Although many of your prayers remain unanswered, you can trust in God’s great faithfulness. He keep all of his promises in perfect way and timing. Among other things, he has promised to give you peace that displaces the trouble and fear in your heart. In the gospel of John 14: 27 Jesus tells his disciples and us “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you, I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. If you become weary of waiting for answers to your prayers, remember that he also waits, so that he may be gracious to you and have mercy on you. God waits till you are ready to receive the things he has lovingly prepared for you. His blessings are for all of his children, we only need to be still and know that he is God patiently.
